Member's Bio

Lazaro earned his BSc in Physics from the University of Havana. He later received a MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering (Medical Imaging specialization) from the University of Calgary. He joined the NeuroPM Lab in early 2020 to start a PhD in Neuroscience. His research focuses on modeling brain activity associated with degenerative diseases and designing personalized therapeutic interventions. He enjoys baseball, reading and the cuisine quebecoise.
