Raul holds a PhD in Cognitive and Social Neuroscience and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He works at the intersection of molecular, neuroimaging, and the exposome to increase our understanding of neurodegenerative conditions. His goal is to leverage computational neuroscience to develop multimodal models that advance precision medicine and enable more personalized approaches to prevention and care. In addition, he has a strong interest in developing novel statistical models capable of integrating large-scale omics data to better capture the biological complexity underlying brain ageing and neurodegeneration. When he is not in the lab, he can usually be found at the gym or enjoying a good movie.
